Gallblader removal surgery

Unfortunately I had a gallbladder attack on Saturday, January 9th... which ended up with me in the ER at St. Claire's hospital.... when they decided that I had some stones that were inbedded in my gallbladder and infected so the doc said it had to be removed; thus my very first surgery was planned. I didn't care what they did as long as they made the pain go away!!! It was sooo very painful. The surgery went well and afterwards I was hit with so much pain meds I don't remember much of anything!

The worst part was that it is a 4 week or so recovery period and I didn't have much time before Darrin left for Alaska and I was on my own to take care of myself and M. So I was more worried about being able to be on my own. It meant taking myself off the pain meds way early and then the day before D left trying to go out to a store and actually driving for the first time in weeks!!(due to the pnemonia prior to this happening!)

So around here I am taking it easy ...actually a bit over boring and trying to heal!
