hot days of summer

We have been enduring extreme heat for three weeks and I can't believe it. I do NOT remember it being this hot before! I am so very grateful for air conditioning. Now the really funny thing is that I am in the California desert today and it was so MUCH cooler here! there was a nice brezze, man do I miss my Cali. I get to enjoy it here for about a week! much too short!
But I am visiting with hubby who is here on a business trip, visiting my family and mostly taking M to his very first trip ever to Disneyland! I grew up with it and even worked there it is not all that for me, but it is quite an experience to take someone for the first time. I took D for his first and now M. I am very excited.
